Toddler Helps: Healthier Eating
I don't know about you moms out there, but I've been having a struggle with meal ideas that are healthy for my two toddlers. Well, yesterday my friend Ashley introduced me to a site that has a lot of ideas and I thought I'd share it. The website is superhealthykids.com and it has lots of ideas for different meals and they even have a weekly newsletter you can sign up for. While I was browsing that site, I came across the link for a different site, produceforkids.org. This site is focused on getting kids to eat more fruits and veggies, but the recipes it shares also involves proteins so it's not just a glorified salad site. I haven't completely browsed through all the archives on either of the these sites, but they look like they are good resources for ideas. Now I just need to figure out how to get my picky eaters to actually try new things! :)

I have been researching the exact same thing this week. Kaidyn is so picky and I am worried that he isn't getting the nutrients he needs. My pediatrician said that it isn't all due to the child being picky. He said kids their age are more concerned with playing. If their meal keeps them away from play too long then they wont show interest in eating. The Dr suggested setting up a snack station somewhere in the house for Kaidyn to have access to even while playing. I put things like raisins, yogurt dip/graham crackers, pretzels, cheese, green beans, etc in a muffin tin on a box where Kaidyn can reach and he is doing a lot better so far! I wish he would eat more veggies! You can only come up with so many green smoothies :)Good Luck!
