The weekend before 4th of July, we went to a River Cats Baseball Game with the family we have in the area, and it was a lot of fun- despite the heat! They were playing the Tucson team, and Adam and I weren't sure who to root for! ;) Adam's sister got us cheap seat tickets, which means we sat on the grass behind the field, but it was fun to hangout and the boys liked playing with their cousins. Nathan even got a baseball from one of the players who threw it over the fence from the warm-up area behind the outfield. After the game, we also got a special treat because the stadium let off a small fireworks show. The boys loved it! We also were lucky enough to be sitting right in front of the little pavilion where the mascot, Dinger, played the drums for a couple of minutes before the game. Nathan loved it! He kept calling the River Cat (aka a Racoon) a bear. Whatever he is, Nathan kept his eyes glued on him the whole time!
